Ferrari 599 GTB

Ferrari 599 GTBIf you are fortunate enough to have been enjoying the fabulous Ferrari 599 GTB since before before the high performance handling HGTE package was introduced, the Italian automaker is now giving you a chance to install the system as an Aftermarket Package.

The package (for pre-2008 599 GTB Fioranos) will only set you back $28,300 and will upgrade your GT machines handling significantly, as well as include a new exhaust system and some styling upgrades. For post-2008 models equipped with the F1 Superfast transmission, the price jumps up to $32,400 and adds an additional performance kit.
So for the price of brand new Mitsubishi Evo X, or the transponder watch for the new DBS you can have a Ferrari 599 that will run circles around the F-40 and maybe give Scuderias a run for ther money on the track, We think that it is well worth it, after all, what’s 30K when you already spent over 300 thousand dollars for an outstanding automobile. Why not make it even better?

Ferrari F-450 spied outside the factory in Maranello

Ferrari F-450 spied outside the factory in MaranelloThere are a lot of factors that go into making a good spy photo. First, you must find an interesting subject that people will pay big money to have a look at. Second, choosing the location is almost as important as the vehicle being shot; racetracks are popular locations but factories can be even better. However, nothing is more important than being in the right place at the right time. That is exactly what happened with this fortunate spy photographer when he spotted the upcoming Ferrari F-450 outside the factory in Maranello right at the moment that Ferrari decided to take the car out for a test ride.
Under the deck lid, Ferrari will use a 4.6 Liter V8 to power the F-450 that will send a screaming 520 HP to the rear wheels. As we’ve said before; this means that the future mid engine Ferrari car will be even quicker than the factory tuned F-430 Scuderia. In typical Maranello fashion; the Italian automaker plans on offering the upcoming F car in both a coupe and spyder layouts.
Although the automaker hasn’t supplied any official details, it would be interesting to see this next generation super car feature Ferrari’s hybrid all wheel drive system to not only improve fuel mileage, but traction as well.

Renault prepares 275 HP version for the 2.0 Liter engine

Renault prepares 275 HP version for the 2.0 Liter engineThe French automaker Renault is preparing a few surprises for us for the Frankfurt Motor Show. One of them is a factory tuned 275 HP version of the 2.0 Liter TCe gas burning engine that will add a very healthy dose of sport to the automobile manufacturers lineup. The only problem is that Renault still hasn’t confirmed which model will be lucky enough to be motivated by the hot rod power plant.
Current speculation suggests that there are two possible models that will benefit from the turbocharged four cylinder engine. One of them is the special edition Renault Megane 3RS and the other is a Gordini version for the Megane. Either way it would be very nice to see a Megane with the potent power plant under the hood no matter which label accompanied it.
Aside from the boosted Megane, Renault is planning on unveiling a special edition five door version of the Megane RS at the upcoming Paris Auto Show. Following their official debuts both the three and fiver door models will go into production in November.

Alfa Romeo 8C Spider

Alfa Romeo 8C Spider$300,000 is a lot of money to splurge on one item. Then again, if that ‘one item’ in particular is an Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, then it might be the best $300 grand purchase you’ll ever make.
Don’t get us wrong. We are by no means advocating anyone to spend their entire life savings on one vehicle. We’re just saying that if you had that kind of money to waste, then an 8C Spider wouldn’t necessarily be a bad tab to put on your credit card.
The 8C Spider – the convertible version of the 8C Competizione – is as expensive as it is rare with only 500 vehicles set to be produced, including only 35 set to hit US soil. Owning one would not only give you instant credibility, but you’ll also be noted as one of the lucky few to purchase Alfa Romeo’s most expensive production car in its 99-year history.
The problem is, with the limited supply, you’ll probably face stringent competition for these bad boys and Maserati North America - which, incidentally is the exclusive dealer for these cars - will know that with the escalating demand for these limited cars, you can bet your bottom dollar that you’ll have to shell out more than $300 K for the 8C Spider.

380 HP Audi TT-RS by Mcchip

380 HP Audi TT-RS by McchipThe Audi TT RS is a phenomenal automobile directly from the manufacturer, but what if you want a little more than the standard car’s 335 HP? That is why there is an aftermarket, and the tuners at McChip Dkr. are ready and waiting to transform your RS badged Audi into an even better performance machine. Starting out with the company’s Stage 1 package, the 2.5 Liter inline five cylinder engine is tuned to produce 380 HP and 405 lb-ft of torque all accomplished with a reprogrammed ECU that also raises the TT’s top speed to 186 MPH, all for only 889 Euros.
Over the next two to four weeks, the McChip will also unveil their Stage 2 performance package for the four ringed sports car. This next level package will boost the 5 cylinder engine’s output to 400 HP. Aside from the increase in engine output, the tuners at McChip have decided to upgrade the RS’s rolling stock with a set of stylish 20 inch wheels from Cargraphic wrapped in sticky Continental tires to make the most out of the TT’s new found power, after all one of the more important aspects of any performance vehicle is where the rubber meets the road.

Dodge Circuit EV

Dodge Circuit EVRevealed earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show, the Dodge Circuit EV has been finally confirmed for production. Lou Rhodes, Chrysler’s ENVI division president has stated that the automaker’s first all-electric vehicle will be launched next year. The electrified sports car will compete with mdoels like the Tesla Roadster, but at a lower cost.
The car’s chassis will be assembled in Europe by the engineers at Lotus and then shipped back to U.S. for the electric drivetrain to be installed. The car has already undergone significant testing. After the Circuit EV is launched, Chrysler awill add a lineup of electric sedans, SUVs and crossover models to their range of vehicles.
The Circuit EV is powered by a completely electric ENVI drivetrain that delivers a maximum output of 268 HP. That much power allows the Circuit EV concept to go from 0 to 60 MPH in less than 5 seconds, while top speed goes up to 120 MPH.

Cobra N+ creates one cool Nissan 370Z

Cobra N+ creates one cool Nissan 370Z The Nissan 370Z is a great car as it comes from the factory, but Cobra N+ decided that they could improve upon perfection with a few tasteful touches. Cobra Technology and Lifestyle revealed this new aero accent package for the Japanese sports car consisting of a few carbon fiber replacement parts like the front spoiler, rear diffuser insert and mirror covers.
The aggressive exterior accents are accentuated by a set of 19 inch O.Z. Superleggeras measuring 9 inches wide up front and 10 inches in the back. Although the Cobra N+ doesn’t pop the hood, they do free up a few horsepower and improve the Z car’s tone with a sport tuned stainless steel muffler complete with a pair of 120 mm tips. With a few simple touches Cobra N+ has put their own spin on the Nissan 370Z and it looks phenomenal, although that’s not to hard when you start with such a great car.
